Quality of Character
This is going to be another one that's hard for me, because (like Tinkerbell) Meg personally resonates with me.  She's spunky, witty, sarcastic, and pessimistic.  However she also relies on her feminine wiles to manipulate men and makes questionable deals with Hades.  Like most real human beings, Meg has positive and negative qualities, which is why her score in this category ends up in the middle.  We hold our Disney Heroines to higher standards than real people!

Megara is one saucy wench (also LOL at Herc's face in the still)

Overall Film Quality
Megara could have ended up a lot higher up on this countdown if it weren't for the fact that this film just isn't that great.  The animation style in particular is hyper stylized and kind of weird (Hercules curlicue ears, anyone?).  The music is meh, the story is meh.  Meg is a supporting character but her arc is more interesting than the hero's.  It scores on par with Hunchback.

Those ears? Really?

Love Interest
Hercules, while sweet, is a dufus.  He's a nice, protective sort that cares for Meg a lot (plus), but he's not particularly clever or engaging (minus). He ends up scoring right in the middle and does nothing to improve Megara's rank on this countdown.

Supporting Characters
Pretty low on the totem pole.  Danny DeVito can't save Hercules' tutor from being boring.  Hades makes up some points, because James Woods voicing the God of the Underworld is a special and wonderful thing to behold.

Music
No. No ma'am.  They tried to embrace this r&b/ Little Shop of Horrors feel with some souls sisters doing some sort of song narration and it's just... No.  It's not the lowest scoring movie in this category but it's close.

Ensemble
I. Love. Meg's. Dress.  I want one of my own.  I would rock Megara's look every day of the week.  Probably not appropriate for a child do so, however.  Megara also has the unnecessary cleavage issue that Esmeralda also suffers from.  Yikes.  Sorry girl, clearly you're the heroine for grown ladies rather than their daughters.
