Raising a kid and going to WDW. A lot.

In another reminder how time flies as a parent, D was due for her biannual trip to the dentist.

D was so chill, she even took it upon herself to talk some chill into another kid who was not so laid back about her cleaning. "They just gonna clean your teeth, it's fine!"

D continues to pursue her make-up dreams.  I introduced her to drag make-up tutorials while I was cooking dinner.

I should have known things would take an... interesting turn when I realized she was watching one from Trixie Mattel.

She was so proud that she got that eye shadow UNDER her eyes!

Grandpa Marc came into town for a weekend visit.  Of course we had to have our trip to Stefano's since it's both Grandpa and D's favorite restaurant in town.

D's going to have to trademark that flamingo princess pose.  Saturday, Ian and I went to a work event, so D got to have a movie date with Grandpa.  They went to see Wonder Woman (D's pick, viewing #2).

Then we all went shopping so D could get her belated birthday gift from the grandparents: her first bike.  It's a Tinker Bell bike. And a Disney Princess crown errrrrr I mean helmet (complete with tiara). And Hello Kitty safety pads.

D wanted to ride it right away, but we had to make a dinner stop at Smokey Bones (D calls it "da other fire place" apparently Redlight Redlight is "da fire place").

Daddy had the bike all assembled and ready to go for Sunday after brunch at Playalinda.

It was way too hot for extensive bike time, so we moved the party to the pool.

And after much debating, Ian made the perfect suggestion for our last dinner with Grandpa this trip: Pizza Bruno.

Honestly it was a challenging week as a whole with D (she's in one of here challenging everything moods), but getting to start my day with this cuteness? It helps make it all worth it.
